Meet Dr. Rueter!

Dr. Sara Rueter graduated from the University Of Illinois School Of Veterinary Medicine in 1995.  She has been practicing veterinary medicine in the Indianapolis area for over 10 years and worked in Broad Ripple for close to five years.  Her areas of special interest include soft tissue surgery and internal medicine cases.

Dr. Rueter’s philosophy of practicing veterinary medicine is to always be mindful that every pet is a loved member of a family, and she considers herself to be the other “family doctor.” She enjoys working with clients to develop the best possible healthcare plans for their pets.

Dr. Rueter resides with her husband, Greg, (who is also a veterinarian) their three children Sam, Megan and Ben, two cats and a Golden Retriever.  Outside of work, Dr. Rueter enjoys running, reading, cooking and spending time with friends and family.
