Our Staff

Our staff are all people with a great love of animals. Together, we work as a team to provide the best care possible for your pet. Our staff members are all competent, compassionate and committed to ensuring your pet has the most positive experience possible while in our hospital.

  Allison Maguire (Front Desk Supervisor)
Allison is our experienced and friendly front desk supervisor. From the moment you arrive to the moment you leave, Allison will handle your concerns regarding your pets’ visit and will also handle your pets’ individual needs based on the veterinarian’s recommendations.  Her smile is contagious and her goal is to assure your visit runs as smoothly as possible.

Rick Adams (Veterinary Tech/Asst.)
Rick has worked with Drs. Simpson and Rueter for over 10 years and has a reassuring and relaxing style that is appreciated by our most nervous patients. Rick is a caring and capable individual whose responsibilities include radiology, dentistry, surgical assistance, anesthesia as well as client education and communication.

Brett  Eastwick (Veterinary Assistant)
Brett has worked with Drs. Rueter and Simpson for several years in the Broad Ripple area. From checking in our patients to assisting in the examination rooms to client education to ensuring that all pets are comfortable and lovingly cared for, Brett is always ready and willing to lend a helping hand.  He is one of the reasons our hospital runs smoothly.

Julia  McCarty (Receptionist/Vet Assistant)
Julia is our warm and outgoing receptionist who also has been learning (quickly) to be a valuable assistant with our patients.  Julia can usually be found at the front desk answering your questions or assisting the veterinarian in the treatment area. She is currently working to fulfill requirements to gain entrance into veterinary school.
